Functional Preservation in Skull Base Surgery


We are delighted to invite you to the Oxford Skull Base Team's course on "Functional Preservation in skull base surgery". This two-day course will take place in the beautiful city of Oxford in the UK. It will consist of presentations, expert panel discussions and high-quality videos focused on surgical technique. You can look forward to stimulating case discussions with ENT, Neurosurgery, Plastic surgery and Oncology colleagues and updates on surgical approaches.


There will be focus on hearing preservation approaches, facial nerve preservation and re-animation, the middle fossa approach, endoscopes in lateral skull base surgery, intracapsular dissection of lower cranial nerve schwannomas, jugular paraganglioma surgery and radiotherapy and preserving function. 


This will take place on the 8th to 9th February 2024 at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford


The cost is £180 which includes lunch, coffee and course dinner (additional £20 for Oxford walking tour).
